Here are some long over due pictures from the 4th of July weekend. We went up to Austin where Grey went swimming for the first time. He loved it and did a great job kicking his legs and going under water with Daddy. On Saturday night we watched fireworks from the pool but Grey was more interested in watching the people in the pool than the fireworks. Overall, though, he enjoyed the show but could barely stay awake to finish watching them.

Grey's First Bad Report Card :(
Grey got his first bad report card today. They said he was C-R-A-N-K-Y! Every day when I pick him up they tell me how much they enjoy him. His teachers talk about how much he smiles and how he is such a happy baby....but not today! I really think it's because he is teething that he was in a bad mood but whatever the reason is, it does not help with the 3 1/2 hr. car ride we are going on tonight. That could be an LONG car ride since he is cranky and he doesn't like his car seat! I bought him some new toys from Target today so hopefully I can keep him distracted from crying (cross your fingers).

Dad's so Funny
Grey loves to watch his Baby Einstein videos and especially loves the lizard (I think it's a lizard at least). Every time the lizard comes onto the screen and goes "Blah" Grey smiles and laughs. This past weekend Grandma gave Grey two finger puppets - a monkey and giraff. Dan decided to reinact the Baby Einstein video for Grey, who would laugh and laugh at his Daddy's puppet show. I caught a little bit on video.

What a Fun Weekend!
Happy Birthday Morgan!
This weekend Grandpa, Grandma, Robyn, Morgan and Marcus came into town to celebrate Morgan's 21st birthday and Father's Day. I can't believe Morgan is already 21 - I still remember waiting in the hospital, eating ice cream sandwiches the day she was born. It's been so much fun having a little sister, although she is not so little anymore :) We had a nice dinner on Saturday and then we took Morgan out to celebrate. It was fun and the best part was that my parents woke up at 6 am on Sunday to take care of Grey so we could sleep in.
The next day was Father's Day so we all hung out and until everyone had to leave to drive home. Grey enjoyed all the attention and got even more spoiled if that is possible. We had a lot of fun this weekend - thanks to everyone for coming into town!

My First "Real" Food
Grey has officially started to eat "somewhat" real food! This month on the menu is rice cereal. It looks like he loves it! You can tell he gets real excited. He got it all over himself at first but then he picked up how to eat. The bib was one of the most exciting parts of the whole experience. He was a little confused at first then just decided it was his new toy. Grey is doing really great. He keeps us on our toes and surprises us everyday. He is so much fun!
