An Overdue Update

I know I've been TERRIBLE about updating the blog, but I haven't had much free time lately :) September/October were busy months for all of us but we had good time seeing friends and family. Here is a recap of what's been going on and I promise to try to do better about the updates.

We tried to take Grey's 8 month pictures at the park near our house on our way to Whole Foods for breakfast, but he didn't understand what he was doing on the tree. He loved the leaves though!

Grey had ear aches in both ears so I made a pallet on the floor for him and covered him up with the big blanket. He liked it for about 20 seconds before he crawled to me wanting me to pick him up. Poor guy didn't feel good at all! The ear aches finally went away after two rounds of medicine, which wasn't fun. Grey loved the taste of the medicine though :)

We went to visit Mutta , Bobby, PoPo and Granny before we left for Vegas. It was good seeing them again and we miss them so much! Grey was a ham and showed off to everyone while we were there. Bobby said the people at the Belair restaurant still ask about him if that goes to show you how much he showed off :) Grey loved seeing Mutta and Bobby again and he was so intersted in making sure he didn't miss a thing while we were there. He also had fun playing with Granny and PoPo bouncing on their laps. We can't wait to visit Hallettsville and Yoakum again soon - love you and miss you!

After visiting family, Dan and I went to Vegas. It was our first time to leave Grey for more than a few hours. Grey really wanted to go with us but he had a fun time at my parent's house. Thanks Mom and Dad for taking care of him!

We had a blast there and although we didn't walk away ahead, Linda (a.k.a. Glinda) the Good Witch was good to us the last day we were there :) It was a nice getaway but we were both glad to be home.

Grey was baptised on October 11th. He did really well and didn't cry - he was more interested in what the other babies were doing and watched them the whole time. We were thankful that he didn't have a blow out while he was there because he had been sick the whole week - sad! Thanks to everyone who came in town! We were glad we got to spend the special time with everyone!
