Blocks and Bubbles

Grey just got a set of new blocks that squeak and he loves to just chew on them. We show him how to stack up the blocks but Grey is more interested in putting everything into his mouth right now. Spencer seems to think we bought the blocks for him because he tries to steal them from Grey. Spencer will sit real close to Grey when we are playing with them (Spencer typically is as far from Grey that he can get) and slowly grab one in his mouth and walk into the dinning room as nonchalantly as possible. Spencer knows they are not his but thinks they should be! Needless to say, it is a constant battle of keep Spencer away from them although Grey doesn't mind at all because he gets to sit close to Spencer (a.k.a. "puppy").

Grey also got a new toy from Grandma Boom Boom - a bubble maker. It's a pretty neat machine - it atomatically blows bubbles for you so you don't have to get light headed from blowing bubbles for 30 minutes. We played with it on Sunday and Grey seemed to like it. Every now and then he would get some bubbles in him mouth and he would make a face, but for the most part, he would just watch them go by and grab at them.
